A simple study on the theme "Friends".

Une étude toute simple, sous le thème "Amis".

Just after the "Chinese Walls" series comes "Archipelagos of the Milky Way." Built between 1981 and 1983 in my studio in Velars s / Ouche in Burgundy and workshop Rue de l'Eure in Paris. This phase is very important, because it opens the landscape of the Milky Way which is essential for me. For now, I hear that developments continue.

Juste après les "Murailles de Chine" vient la série "Archipels de la Voie Lactée". Reálisé entre 1981 et 1983 dans mon atelier à Velars s/Ouche en Bourgogne et l'atelier de la Rue de l'Eure à Paris. Cette phase est pour moi très importante, car il ouvre le paysage de la Voie Lactée qui est pour moi essentiel, pour les développements que j'entends actuellement poursuivre.

Two steps back, eventually rebound.
Here is a sketch, a study made two years ago. Today I took it out of my archives and it could possibly serve as raw material for fiction. In fact I think that long to get into something on the order of the narrative, such as BD, although I have not dared to openly engage in this way, while considering the BD and Comics as the great arts of the twentieth century. This confirmed the pathetic excitement was Pop Art, patch to mark the illusion of authority from the imposed idea of the museum "great art".

Deux pas en arrière, pour éventuellement rebondir. 

Voici une ébauche, une étude faite il y deux ans. Aujourd'hui je l'ai sortie de mes archives et qui pourra éventuellement servir de matière première pour une fiction. En effet depuis longtemps que je songe à me lancer dans quelque chose de l'ordre de la narration, comme des BD, bien que je n'aie pas ouvertement osé m'engager dans cette voie, tout en considérant la BD et les Comics comme les grands arts du XXème siècle. Ceci confirmé par la pathétique excitation qui fut le Pop Art, rustine - encore une - pour marquer l'illusion et autorité du dit "grand art".

Certains peuvent penser que je ne fais que de la pose. Mais ci-dessous la preuve flagrante de l'artiste au labeur.

Day 3

Increasingly close, a very slow process at the moment. geting out from a very long sleep.

3ème Jour

De plus en plus proche, un procès très lent pour le moment. comme sortir d'un très long sommeil.

A slow, very slow transformation. And can be revealed just the composition, to locate the time to stop a painting and continue the spiral of other paintings in progress. Leave the circle. Incorporate abandonment, surrendering and enjoy.

Day 2.

Une lente, très lente transformation. Et peut à peu se dévoilera la composition, jusqu'à situer le moment d'arrêter un tableau et poursuivre la spirale des autres tableaux en cours. Quitter le cercle. Intégrer l'abandon.
